Apple Harvest Day Returns to Downtown Dover – Saturday, October 4, 2025
Downtown Dover’s favorite fall tradition is back! On Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 9 am to 4 pm, the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce will host the 41st Annual Apple Harvest Day, a celebration that draws more than 60,000 visitors each year. This beloved New Hampshire festival is the perfect way to welcome autumn with local food, shopping, and community fun.
Central Avenue will transform into a pedestrian-friendly street fair, stretching from Third Street to Henry Law Park. Along the way, you’ll discover over 300 vendors — from local artists and makers to downtown shops and nonprofits — plus an incredible variety of food stalls serving everything from seasonal treats to classic street eats. Live music and entertainment will fill the streets, creating a festive atmosphere from morning to afternoon.
For families, Henry Law Park is the place to be. The park comes alive with inflatables, face painting, crafts, train rides, and interactive activities hosted by the Dover Children's Home. It’s a kid-friendly zone where children can play and explore while parents soak up the festival energy.
Now in its 41st year, Apple Harvest Day has grown into one of the largest and most cherished fall festivals in New Hampshire. It’s more than apples — it’s a celebration of community spirit, small businesses, and everything we love about autumn in New England. Whether you’re here for the shopping, the food, the live entertainment, or the family activities, there’s something for everyone.
