SEH Studios Art Gallery is a retail fine art gallery showcasing the oil paintings of award-winner & curator, Susan E. Hanna, and other contemporary artists.
SEH Studios features the works of regional artists, enhancing the community’s cultural landscape. The gallery's design includes organic colors and warm, inviting lighting, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. Owner, artist, and curator, Susan E. Hanna maintains a philosophy that fine art is for everyone. “All are welcome here,” she says. The gallery hosts frequent gatherings featuring conversations, music, and the opportunity to mingle with other like-minded folks.
We are the perfect source for local original art as well as scenes on notecards and prints. Susan focuses on outdoor paintings, including many local scenes.
Located on a busy corner in the heart of downtown Dover, the gallery presents two rooms featuring a wide range of artworks by established and emerging New England artists, including traditional oils, wood carvings, acrylics, watercolors, multi-media pieces, Sterling silver jewelry, local pottery, raised bronze vessels, stained glass, and more.
You may observe painting lessons or chat directly with one of our artists when you visit. Susan paints in the gallery studio and welcomes your questions as you watch. Our friendly staff don't mind conversations about where we like to eat and spend time in Dover!
The Gallery offers group painting classes and semi-private lessons. Visitors may enjoy oil and watercolor painting lessons as well as our Small Group Oil Painting Experience where they paint with their own group of friends or family.
