Children's Museum of New Hampshire
The award-winning Children's Museum of New Hampshire sits in downtown Dover, NH, nestled in Henry Law Park, and overlooks the Cochecho River. Established in 1983 and originally located in Portsmouth, NH, the Children's Museum has a long history of serving families in our community and across the globe. Every year the museum serves over 103,000 individuals - whether that's through a school group visit, an educator workshop, a summer camp, a class, or simply through a visit to play in the museum's hands-on exhibits. The museum is a 501c3 non-profit and part of its mission is to ensure that everyone has access to the museum, regardless of financial circumstances. Every year the museum welcomes 28% of its visitors with free or reduced admission programs.
A visit to the museum requires online registration. Museum hours are currently Wednesdays - Saturdays, 9am-Noon or 1-4pm; Tuesdays and Sundays 9am-Noon. In the summer months, an additional afternoon play session is added to Tuesdays. Admission is $14.50 for everyone over the age of 12 months; $12.50 for Seniors 65+; Free for Members and for kids under the age of 12 months.
